anyone else kinda scared to TTC because of their weight and something going wrong? I'm 275 got pregnant once (it was a tubal) and im kinda scared to try again in fear of something happening again cause of my weight

I weigh right about the same as you. I'm 5'8 and 27 yo. I got pregnant when I was 17, but I was only like 170 then. I am also concerned about not only being able to get pregnant now, but also having a healthy pregnancy due to my weight.

I weighed 220 when I got pregnant and gained 60 lbs by the end of my miserable pregnancy and had a very traumatic birth because of it leaving me with PTSD and depression, even a year and a half later. I've been working with a therapist and have lost almost 50 lbs recently to get my body and my mind ready to start trying again, and I'm slowly feeling better about the idea. He's been very helpful to help overcome the feelings of guilt and fear, and I definitely recommend working with someone to help you get through some of your feelings about your ectopic pregnancy, and perhaps a doctor about potential weight loss goals and your chances of it happening again.
