Do you think the US should get rid of tipping in restaurants?
And instead just pay servers a fair wage? Right now most servers make barely enough regular wage to pay income taxes (like $2 an hour) and often don’t bring home any paycheck at all except for what they make in tips. I’ve seen a lot of people lately talking about not tipping their waiter/waitress anything, which is despicable in my opinion. Since tipping is technically optional, do you think we should just get rid of it entirely and pay servers a normal salary? Why or why not? Weigh in.
