Dockatot- worth it?

Does anyone have experience with the dockatot?? I hear such great things but just want to hear people's experience. I am afraid to spend that much money and then my babe not like it.

I was all about them until I started researching safe sleep. they are not recommended as a safe sleep space so I decided against getting one.

I love ours. It's weird because the creator it's a big co-sleeping advocate and their site says it's designed for safe co-sleeping. We tested the sides (my husband smashed his face against the side and did find is breathable). But then other sites says it's not safe ... so much conflicting info !

I read a couple weeks ago on this app about this DockATot thing. A lot of people were saying it was ruled unsafe by FDA.
I would get a halo bassinet as it can swing around to be basically on top of your bed but still separate for safety
