spotting for over a month

I'm so unsure what's going on with my body.

so I've been spotting since my last period in September.. but its not so much spotting its only when I wipe or when I sex with SO. but most recently it has gotten worse when we have sex.. I don't get my period regularly, I never have even on birth control. I also miscarried last Christmas.

I did make a Dr appointment but its not for another 2 1/2 weeks.

I wonder if any of you ladies might know what's going on.

10/27/17 update: I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative
