Help, will I have a uterine rupture?

I’m booked in for my second csection on the 20th of November I’m due on the 29th my doctor told me it was the best option because I got pregnant 8months after my last csection and there’s a chance I will have uterine rupture has anyone else had a successful vaginal birth after having baby’s so close? The more I think about it I want to try and have a vaginal birth

I think you are at a higher chance for a uterine rupture if u try a vbac that close. I had a csection my 1st and was told to wait 18 months for baby 2 but will automatically choose a csection. I personally knowing others who had a uterine rupture would think a csection is best bc baby will be safest. If u try for a vaginal and have a uterine rupture baby is at a lot more of a higher risk for being in distress and complications.

You can still have a VBAC. You are healed after the 8 weeks. Waiting a year or 10 years won't make a difference to the scar. The risk of uterine rupture is 0.03%. Women who have never even had a Caesarean section can also have a rupture.
Doctors know how to watch for it and should know the signs. My midwife allows me to go a week over my due date for a VBAC.
Honestly, look into it more and show the doctor some facts. Most OBs do try to scare you out of it because it is more money and more convenient for them. Search this link. I promise it's worth it!
