Halo bassinet? Rock n play? HELP!

We want our baby to sleep right next to us at night but we have NO clue what to buy. A pack n play will be too big for our room but we keep hearing about the Halo bassinet and the rock n play. Cons are babies grow out of the Halo too quickly and the rock n play just concerns me because it doesn't look supportive enough for sleeping. HELP! Thoughts? Any other product recommendations?

I loved them both. Lol I used the halo bassinest for overnight sleeping and the rock and play for nap times so I could move it to wherever I was.

My babies had reflux so they used their rock and plays at night (Dr recommended) until about 5 months. I've never used a halo though! I swear by r&p;'s!

If you live in southern California I'll sell you my halo at a steep discount lol...We never used it.  I loved the rock n play and just the regular packnplay though.

Rock n Plays are not meant for overnight sleep. Baby needs a flat, firm surface for sleeping. Most babies sleep until 4 months in a bassinet, then move to a pack n play or crib.

I have a basinet, but my little stinker refuses to sleep in it, even with it at an angle.  He sleeps in a rock n play right next to my bed.

We have the fisher price version of the halo and love it. It has the mesh sides and is about the same height as the Halo but is 1/3 of the price. It also has a noise, light, and vibration feature on it.

I love my Halo! It’s a bit heavy, though, and Fisher Price has a bassinet called the Stow n Go bassinet that looks nice if you want a cheaper, lighter option. We have a Rock n Play that we never use because my son doesn’t like it. They’re not safe for sleeping anyway... your baby should sleep on a flat surface no matter what you choose. There are so many options out there, I don’t envy you for going through the decision making process right now! I will tell you that as a new parent, Amazon Prime (especially Same Day or One day shipping) will be your best friend! When babies are newborn they’ll sleep in anything, so start with a cheap option so you can always upgrade or buy something else to suit your LOs needs as he/she gets more picky after a few weeks. We have a Halo, Pack N Play, Rock N Play, and a DockATot. Our daughter sleeps in her Halo at night next to our bed. She sleeps in her DockATot during the day since we spend most of the day downstairs in the living room. I haven't put her in her Rock N Play yet. Honestly, I'm not sure if we're really gonna use it because I don't think I'll be comfortable with her sleeping in it. She also takes naps in the Pack N Play. I definitely recommend the Halo for nights. I love it and our loves it also.
