Yeast Infection..?

Today is Saturday and on Wednesday I had really bad itching around my vagina.. continued to Thursday. not my labia's but my vagina kind of felt big and swollen..something just didn't feel right down there. there was a tiny irritation. I took a look at myself and saw some white stuff. it did look different and kind of Clumpy. like very little white clumps. I knew I had never seen this and I did my research and it looks like I may have a yeast Infection. Today it less irritated and my vagina looks a little bit better but when I stick my do get inside I still get a little of the clumpy discharge. should I let it heal on its own? if it can even do that or anyone know any home remedies?
