Baby/Toddler talking??
*Girls tend to talk sooner and better than boys, so this is directed more towards Moms of Boys, but if you have a similar situation with your daughter, feel free to comment!
My son is 16 months old. He is an extremely complicated child, and what makes it worse is his lack of, or inability to, communicate at all. He can say “Hi, mama,” sometimes, but rarely, “dada” and occasionally it sounds like he says “yeah,” but I don’t think he means to. We read every single day, everything he points to, I say what it is, or when I’m grabbing something I will say the name of whatever I am grabbing. We have watched educational programs, and things like “Your Baby Can Read,” we have word cards that we go through, but he isn’t getting anywhere. At his 15 month appointment, his doctor said “We will watch that,” with a look of partial concern.
I just don’t know what else to do. I feel like I’m doing everything, but he just will not talk.
