I have been prescribed different dosage by different doctors for hypothyroid. In case you had similar results then what was the dosage prescribed to you?

My baby is 7 month old and I am still BF. One dr suggested 50 mcg and other suggested 75 mcg med.

they started me at 100 and decreased. my levels went up and down for over a year before they leveled out a few months ago. I am currently on 112, which seems to be working, but getting results back next week.

I'd start with the 50, get blood work in two weeks, then have it adjusted. It's usually trial and error for a bit

I’m currently on 100 mg and get tested on 2/19/2021. I was in the hospital for a bit so it did show that my levels were improving but I get tested again soon.

Update: I started with 75 mcg but wasn't feeling good so moved to 50 mcg and retested after a month. My levels were normal. So Dr. asked me to continue with 50 mcg 😃. Hope someday I get rid of it though...

I started at 25mcg, a few months later it was increased to 75 mcg. A year later it got changed to 100 mcg. A few months ago I went down to 50 mcg.

im ttc not pregnant yet. my tsh was 9 and 25mcg works for me. If it hadn't worked they would have increased it after bloodwork but I know they like to start low and increase it as needed.
