BF & Formula?

Hi, FTM. When I pump, I don’t have a lot of it come out. This is an issue because I have 3 job interviews all day long on the 31st and have not pumped enough milk to leave my daughter with my mom. If I were to get either of these 3 jobs, my job would start on Nov 11th full time plus OT. So would it be okay to give her formula and BF her at the same time?

Yep it's perfectly fine. I have supplemented since the hospital. My son is now 50/50 fed. Formula during the day and breastfed at night.

Do what works for you and your little one! Many moms breastfeed and supplement with formula, especially if they don’t have high production. As long as your baby is healthy, fed, and loved, that’s all that matters!

You can. Keep in mind your baby may develop a preference to one or the other. And the more you supplement the lower your supply will go.

I have to top up with formula sometimes (used to be every feed) and my son latches and nurses perfectly fine.
