whole MILK?

so my lil man just turned one on the 18th. I haven't introduced home to whole milk yet as I wasn't sure how to switch from formula to milk. Hubby came home with similac toddler formula and we started to use that switched from similac  advanced cold turkey. he had only been on the formula for 6 months before that I exclusively pumped for him because of latch issues. also picky eater alert... how to get him to eat veggies other than green beans and  carrots. all advice appreciated.

I started with replacing 2 oz of formula at a time... for example he has a 6oz bottle in the am and before bed.... put 2 scoops formula, 4 oz water and 2 oz whole milk, then 1 scoop formula, 2 oz water and 4 oz milk... then 6 oz moll with half a scoop formula then all milk

Why whole milk. Almond milk is natural and there's no hormones, plus it's best for digestion. I just don't get why so many people drink and use whole milk still?

Just switch him over. No need to complicate things. I will say that if you do introduce whole milk go Organic. My daughter is 5 and started getting the worst underarm bo even right after baths (she would jump around before bed). switched her to organic and the bo is completely gone. The hormones in the milk that isn't Organic has been linked to early puberty changes in kids.

Mix milk with the formula and then slowly give him small amounts of milk to make sure his tummy can handle it but if he is 1 he should be fine.

Personally when my son turned one I switched cold turkey from formula (Gentlease) to whole milk. It took him about a week to get used to the flavor difference so he didn't drink much at first but medically it didn't cause any issues. That's just what worked for my son but it doesn't mean it'll work for every baby. As far as veggies I would buy the mixed fruit and veggie baby food and my son would eat that but refused to eat just veggies. He's 2 now though and still refuses to eat vegetables (I don't get him baby food anymore). But he loves fruit so his doctor said its not a big deal as long as I keep trying as most kids are like that.

My doctor told me to just make the switch and not complicate urself. Finding the formula and start him on WM. As for veggies, I steam all sorts of veggies then purée them. I still purée cause I find he eats it instead of being picky with the veggies. Throw anything in it! Garlic onions tomatoes, with sweet potatoes zucchini reguler potato ! It’s all yummy
