An emotional roll-a-coaster

UPDATE: so I called the doctors to see what they recommend I book for an appointment. They informed me all they could do was test me again since I’m not that far along. So I just took another test from home and it came back negative.

I was a week and a half late; except I had some brown spotting, so I took a pregnancy test. It came back positive (the two lines where very clear and visible!) 2-3 days later I started having a heavy flow. I did my research and for sure thought I just miscarried. However the bleeding only lasted 2 days if that and now I’m confused. I then read that if I take another pregnancy test that the chemical that they test for can stay in my body for 12-18 days. I just don’t know if I lost the baby or if I’m still pregnant.
