Weird cramps

I am on cycle day 33 and have take a negative pregnancy test. I have only been off of bc two months and had 27 and 24 day cycles so normally I would think it was just my body regulating. But I had weird pinching cramps just on my lower right abdomen from 7-14 days after I ovulated. They have lessened now but still feel them a few times a day. I'm really nervous that something else is wrong( I have never had cramps like these before)since I still don't have my period and according to pt I'm not pregnant. Should I call the doctor or just wait it out and chalk it up to my cycle regulating?
