Name Issues
My husband and I have been having issues choosing a girl name. I’m not sure how else to explain to him why I don’t like the name he likes. We don’t know the gender yet of our little one, but we are wanting to be prepared as I believe we are having another girl. Boy name we have, thankfully.
He likes June. I hate June. It reminds me of “mama June” and I do not want to think of that woman every time I call my daughter by her name. I’d like to stick with his heritage and keep with the Irish names. I love Holly. Our 5 yr old daughter is named Cailyn. Which is Irish. Holly isn’t used anymore but it’s a traditional name that flows nicely with our last name. He hasn’t said no to Holly, but I’m not sure how to convince him just how much I hate June.
Any ideas?
