Okay mommy's, I'll be a first time mom come December. what stuff did you actually use with a new baby??   I have the neccesitys like a car seat and pack n play. I just feel like I may be over looking some items. I plan on breastfeeding as well.

plenty of pampers (Different stages of pampers not just newborn and stage 1 )  wipes,  Baby swing?, Blankets , Baby clothes , Shampoo,  Body wash,  Baby tub,  A and D ointment incase of rashes,  Baby monitor (If necessary for you ) just a few...

Nursing bras/ sports bras or what ever you plan to wear. Sometimes you end up leaking out if pad isn't in place and end up using more then one bra a day.

A carseat cover may be useful during the winter depending on where you live. I LOVE swaddle blankets as well. Nursing pads and bras are huge help. Be prepared for one breast leaking while baby nurses on the other.

Breast pump and bottles for expressing as you’ll want to sometimes, car seat, pram/stroller (whatever you call it) somewhere to sleep, nappies and wipes (or in my case I use cloth and a face washer for wipes), clothes - not overly that many as they grow so fast. A nappy bag for carrying your products around with you. Burp towels, and I used a dummy/pacifier (just be careful if you decide to use that there is no breast confusion or stop using them). Sheets for their bed, some swaddles. Honestly that’s about all I can think of. Really just the necessities. People bought me so much crap I never used! 
As they get a little older around 6 weeks, things like raffles and small baby safe toys to help them learn.

Rock n play and a swing. White noise machine or app that can play for a long while. Wrap or carrier so you can do things with your hands, pump, xtra pump parts, tummy support, tucks pads, pain meds, stool softener.. trust me on the last one.
