How old was your baby??

Question

How old was your baby the first time you left them overnight with someone? My daughter is six months old and I haven't left her with anyone yet. I know I need to get her use to atleast one night because I'm due in April. My parents said they'd take her next weekend just to give it a go. And I'm thinking yeah ok I can do this..but then 5 minutes later I'm like nope can't do it, I can't leave her.. how do you get past the anxiety and worry of leaving them?

My daughter turns 4yrs in March and has never stayed a night away from me. I just can’t do it. She will have to in February when this baby comes but will probably just be with my husband at my home.

4 month old here, and I have NO intentions of leaving him over night with any one any time soon!! I have a hard enough time leaving him for a few hours.....

My son was 3 months, almost 4 months old when he stayed a night at my parents. My husband and I had a date day/night of going to a football game. It went well for us and now at 3 years old my son would live with my parents if we would let him. He loves his Mimi and G and has a special bond with them.

My daughter was 6 months old and my parents kept her overnight. They had my milk for her when she was hungry as well as one of my shirts to help sooth her. It went great! Huge relief and it was nice to let my parents be involved. They will truly cherish it. My daughter is now almoat 14 years old and my parents still  talk about it with her.

My lo is 9 months and hasn't stayed with anyone longer than 3 hours. She's ebf and began refusing a bottle at 3 months so she hasn't let us leave her with anyone.

We waited until I was done nursing, so about 15 months. I was really ready then so I anxiety for me. My kids co-slept and nursed at night so there was no way I was leaving either of them before that. But once we bit the bullet they have had lots and lots of sleepovers with grandmas and aunties, and now friends. I think it's good for kids to know it's safe away from mom and dad and others can care for you too.
