Sex after c-section???

Sooo it’s been 3 weeks since I gave birth by C-section, and my SO and I were talking about sex and he ask when can we start that again and I explain after 6 weeks. But I don’t know why I feel Scared about sex after a c-section. I also had my tubes tied so I feel like is going to hurt 😞, or that is going to be so uncomfortable 😣 I don’t know many thing come to my head. ANY ONE FEELS THE SAME?? Or HOW WAS THE FIRST TIME FOR YOU

I realize not everyone agrees with this but I didn't wait, 
Once I felt like I just couldn't wait any longer we went ahead and had sex carefully. I was not in pain ! My husband was very gentle and he was so scared to hurt me I really didn't have anything to worry about. It was more uncomfortable not being able to really move my body. So my husband had to do most of the work. But I'm really glad that we didn't wait. 
I'm not saying everyone should go ahead and do it! But when you feel ready.

It all depends on how you feel . I’ve had two csections total and with both I had sex 3-4 weeks pp with no problems. Yes, it’s uncomfortable the first few times thinking if it’s going be painful at any minute but it wasn’t . no need for lube everyone is different just getting to be intimate with husband after so long was enough lube. My advise take it slow and dnt get tricky stay vanilla the first time back on the horse lol and you will be fine.

I was pumping and the hormones are same as nursing and it is still not enjoyable. It feels like everything down there is swollen. Lube is a must and even then it's still unpleasant.

We didn't get to be intimate until 9 weeks pp, I didn't have c-section discomfort but we still had to go slow.

I waited 10 weeks and it was really uncomfortable still. It took a few months until things felt good for me again even with lube and foreplay but everyone is different and you need to consult with your own dr and listen to your body. None of us are dr’s or know how you’re feeling. Make sure you do what’s right for you.

I had a c-section, waited til the 6-8week Dr ok. First time was so PAINFUL, worse than when I was a virgin. Even with foreplay we had to stop. Since then it's slowly gotten better, but at 6 months it still hurts enough at the beginning that I have to breathe through it and wait...then it's better. 
I did learn that is quite normal, specially if you are breastfeeding. I didn't even ever dialate past a 6...it's a hormonal thing more than anything.

You still have to wait 6 weeks. Don't let him pressure you, it could risk your life. Seriously.
Just wait and then when you are cleared by your doctor, use lots of lube.

I also had a csection and my tubes tied and I waited til 4 weeks after and it was super tight and uncomfortable for the first few times but after that I was fine. Just take it easy! And my period cramps have been so horrible after my tubal.. way worse than before I got tied!!

You're supposed to wait 6 weeks for sex because your cervix is still open and there's a risk for infection. It can be hard to wait but worth it.
