I need your help..

My cycle has so far been 55 days long, well 56 today. I spotted yesterday. It was a one time thing only and today, I'm like whatever. I put a pad on to be ready for when the real thing to get here, but nothing. Pad is dry. I took 2 pregnancy tests about a week or 2 ago and they both came out negative. I'm not sure why my period has been acting up. First I get 4 periods in 3 months and now this?? I don't know what's wrong. I just wanted to see if any of you have any idea what could possibly be the cause of this? Oh and I can't go to the doctor right now. I live far plus I'm in the process of changing doctors. So, it might take a while.
