What would you say?!

Hello everyone! I need some advice! My husband and I have decided to hide my pregnancy until Christmas (12 week mark). We have two weddings to attend this weekend and Thanksgiving with his family next month. If someone asks “are you pregnant?”, how would all of you respond? We don’t want to lie but we really don’t want to tell everyone! His mom is a nurse so she catches on to things quickly so I’m almost sure she is going to get suspicious at Thanksgiving.

Or my favorite, I’m not drinking because I don’t have too. If anyone has a problem with the fact that your not drinking just tell them you don’t wanna, nothing wrong or going on, your not obligated to drink!

just say "ah hell who freakin knows" frustrated like that's what I had to do my husband and I did our second cycle of IVF in secret so everyone kept asking when we were gonna do it again or if I was pregnant yet. we didn't want anyone to know we'd done it again until we knew if if took then we still kept it a secret until 10 weeks from everyone except very close family and my bosses. just act like your sick of talking about it

I'm a bad liar so I'd prob end up telling someone if the flat out asked me if I was pregnant. Maybe try to keep conversations just about them and try not to talk about yourself at all, but I know that doesn't keep them from asking. We'll probably run into that problem too but if a few people know before we announce it isn't a big deal to us

Can you say it's your turn to sober drive, or that your husband got buzzed too fast so now you're "stuck" driving? That's what we said one time, another time I faked a sip of wine, and another time I was caught off guard and they figured it out lol. So be prepared with something!

I'm a bad liar so I say "no news yet! But we definitely do want kids!"  If they pushed further and said "when? " I'd say "hopefully we'll have some news to share soon, within the year!" None of it is really a lie. ....you didn't say you're not pregnant, you said no news yet. ...because there's no news until 12 weeks lol
