I'm 40 and 6 and lost my mucas plug and had my bloody show. how long did you wait until losing them to go into labour?

I lost mine after labouring already for 10 hours then that sent me well and truly into active labour

I lost my mucus plug 10/16 (in pieces at first & the rest that evening) & had my baby 10/23, exactly one week later. When I went to my weekly exam 10/18 I was dilated to 4 & 60% effaced. Was in early labor Saturday 10/21, nested like crazy Sunday,  & went into more active labor with timeable contractions by 7p Sunday night.
