Conceiving after a miscarriage

I suffered a miscarriage Sept. 23, 2016 😐, it has been a little over a year now and still nothing. When we originally tried I got pregnant within three months, now we have sex so much more, use no protection, etc. I'm getting worried 😩 .. more so bc of the miscarriage. Did it take any of you ladies long after one to conceive again? When do I know when I should go to a doctor.
