So I’ve been living with my mom, she’s got plenty of room so no big deal but we just found out we need to move by February 1st and I’m due with a baby boy March 8th! So I’m looking for an apartment. For a one bedroom, one bathroom apartment in my area I’ll be paying at least $1,100. I live in Portland Oregon. The place I want to live is $1,215. For a 600sq ft apartment I feel this is ridiculous! What is everyone else paying for rent/ mortgage?

We have an 1800 sq ft 4bed 1.5 bath house on a 10th acre lot in the city and we pay $463 a month for our mortgage. This is near Pittsburgh PA. When I lived in Morgantown WV(about an hour away) for college, a one bedroom apartment ran anywhere from $450-$800 a month depending on how close it was to anything else.

maple shade nj 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath 1300 not including utilities. pretty much anywhere around here can run u a good 900 for a 1 bedroom and up its very expensive here even in the parts where ud expect it to be less its still in the high 1000s
