Fertile after miscarriage?

I had a miscarriage 3 weeks ago and a friend told me yesterday that women are usually very fertile after one. Is this true? I had never heard that before.

Yes I've heard this is true also. I miscarried 2 weeks ago and we are going to start trying again this week.
