Sensation?

Hey , just wondering if anyone has ever experienced this before.

Have not been sexually active in over a year.

But sometimes i can be sitting down watching tv or something & feel this weird burning sensation in my vagina. Not when i pee or anything, doesnt itch at all either. Just that weird feeling, then it will go away. Won't come back for a long time, then randomly happen again. What do you ladies think? Anything to do with the PH balance in the vagina? Its almost like an acidic feeling rather than a burning. I spoke with my mom about it, she said she gets that occasionally as well.

Anyone else experience this before?
