Could I be pregnant?

I’ve always had an irregular period but this time it was way different, the last time I seen my period was in the mouth of July ,we’ve been using protected sex since then and again haven’t seen my period until the month of October when we did use protection then the day after I had cramping and I started my cycle I need help understanding what’s going on and could I be ovulating?
