what are you doing to help?

ok ladies. who is having a hard time with constipation and what are you doing to help relieve some of the issue? I am going to ask my doctor but my appointment is not for another week and a half and really need some relief. 😦 I feel like I have tried everything.

I added a fiber supplement. Just make sure it’s only fiber and none of the added ‘metabolism’ or ‘energy’ stuff. I like vitafustion fiber well sugar free gummies. They are 5g of fiber, unlike most that range from 2-4. Since they’re so high, I only take one instead of the two recommended gummies, and if I’m feeling backed up I’ll take a second.

Water water water is the only thing that helped last pregnancy. Like over a gallon per day. 
I also took the super gentle magnesium citrate laxative twice. Miralax is apprived by most obgyns too. 
And make sure that your prenatal vitamin has some sort of stool softener or probiotic.

Dried prunes or dates! You can binge on them they help a lot. If natural doesn't work, lactulose is very effective but I found it can cause abdominal pain too if the dose is too high.

I do 2 activa yogurts a day bunch of water and Metamucil.  drinking Apple juice and prune juice helps to eating salad will help

Shot of olive oil with lemon.  It’s the only thing that helped me.  Tried everything else.

My doctor prescribed me a prenatal vitamin (ferralet) that just so happens to have a stool softener in it. Also, water!!!
