TMI!! So embarrassed to ask!!!

I feel so stupid! I have PCOS. TTC for nearly 8 years. Just got prescribed Clomid. Waiting for AF. I am 3 days late and too scared to test yet. My periods are pretty regular. However, I am pretty sure I do not ovulate. I know opk's can be tricky for those who have PCOS. So, my question is.... How do I check my CM? I have short fingers. And, is it like your "wetness"? I feel like since I can't really get my finger up far enough to check...I would have to get "wet" in order to check. Also, I usually never get anything when I wipe. Again, sorry for the dumb question. But, thank you for helping me in advance!
