Dog owners!

So I have a dog, almost 3 years old. His hole life he’s came to work with me (I work with my mom at my moms house so he hangs out with my moms dog). I always take him to my moms when I go somewhere longer than an hour or so, he’s really spoiled. Well currently I’m living with my mom and have my dog here of course, where he gets a ton of attention and a huge backyard to run and play all day. Well I have to move into an apartment soon, and he’ll be alone. I also won’t be able to bring him to work anymore. So he’ll go from never being alone to being alone from 8 am to 5 pm every day in an apartment. I’m so upset for him and worried he’ll get depressed since he’s never really been alone before. What do you guys do with your dogs?
