Um... I’m ready but not ready

I think I’m pregnant. Two different tests say I am. We’ve been trying for less than 2 months. I was kinda hoping it’d take longer cause I’m kinda a lot scared of this. This is totally expected yet unexpected. 😬My hubby🐻 is gonna be so excited... but I’m wrestling with shock too much to tell him. Oh my me... yeah, almost 41 and no children. Lifestyle change freak out!

I know a positive result is just the beginning... especially at my age... but, if all goes well, we may get to surprise our families over the holidays 🎄🎁

Despite these happy thoughts I’m freaking out over here. Glad I’m going away for the weekend. Gonna need a distraction. It’ll give me time to come to terms ...and some time to think of a way to surprise him with the news when I get back.
