What is this??

My two-month-old has had this crazy rash going for about three weeks. Has been to the doctor multiple times was told it was a fungus they gave her a cream that dried her skin out really bad, and didn’t help. Then they diagnosed her with food allergy and she has been on nutramagen formula for a week. And now all the sudden it is bad again but it seems different like more bumpy and rashy. I don’t use any laundry soap with scent and we use scent free lotion. But does this look like eczema? I will bring her back in the morning but I’m just at a loss and the dr doesnt seem to have a clue.

Ask your doctor about putting hydrocortisone on it. You can also switch to baby eczema wash and lotion to see if that helps.

That looks like a skin allergy. do you have pets? or anything washed with soaps? maybe wash all the baby stuff in just hot water and baking soda for now...

My daughter would get like that. Her dr told us to use Aveeno baby for eczema. We used just as her regular lotion and it cleared it up.

Laundry soaps don’t necessarily have to have a scent to cause a reaction. It could be other ingredients. My daughter breaks out from any brand that isn’t tide for some reason. I would try changing laundry soaps if you know it’s not anything she’s digesting that’s causing the problem.

It looks like it could be heat rash. Any chance he is too warm/sweating while sleeping or something? My son got a rash like this all over his tummy and back and legs and neck.  I kept him dry and cool and it went away.

My first had that from most baby soaps. It took awhile to figure it out but once i switched to an exzema baby soap and lotion and gave her oatmeal baths it cleared up the day after the first bath.

the picture isn't the best lighting to really see but that looks like what my son would get from using a body wash that had soy bean oil in it. He's allergic to a lot of things, including soy beans. I didn't realize soy bean oil was in some body washes. so it could be a body wash or something that has an allergy of hers in it.

Also the shea moisture eczema bath bar helped wonders. Especially with her allergy rashes not just eczema

My daughter had eczema, it kinda looked like this. Ask doctor for hydrocortisone it helped my daughter a lot and fast.
