Aside from the DNC paying millions to fusion gps, which is under investigation for using Russian sources in the dossier scandal, we are now getting insight from Donna Brazile, the CNN anchor who leaked questions to Hillary during the debates and former interim chair of the DNC, that she found proof of Clinton “buying” the nomination and possibly breaking campaign finance laws. In an interview to politico magazine, Brazile claims she found emails in a cache stolen by Russian hackers that proved the fix between the Hillary Victory Fund, Hillary for America, and the DNC. In a nutshell, the Hillary campaign essentially took over about 80% of the $24 million in debt that Obama left the DNC with. In exchange, Hillary was able to use the DNC as a back channel. According to the Politico article, Hillary Clinton “campaign was using the party as a fund-raising clearinghouse. Under FEC law, an individual can contribute a maximum of $2,700 directly to a presidential campaign. But the limits are much higher for contributions to state parties and a party’s national committee.

Individuals who had maxed out their $2,700 contribution limit to the campaign could write an additional check for $353,400 to the Hillary Victory Fund—that figure represented $10,000 to each of the 32 states’ parties who were part of the Victory Fund agreement—$320,000—and $33,400 to the DNC. The money would be deposited in the states first, and transferred to the DNC shortly after that. Money in the battleground states usually stayed in that state, but all the other states funneled that money directly to the DNC, which quickly transferred the money.”

This has raised some red flags not only for Bernie supporters, but overall campaign finance laws. Yes, Hillary is not president. But the DNC is still an active political body and in my opinion should be investigated as it seems some campaign finance laws might have been violated. Also considering the recent scandals surrounding uranium One, fusion gps, and the podestas, there is so much that is not adding up. We the people deserve fair and honest elections, and if the prior administration behaved inappropriately, we deserve justice too. Your thoughts?
