Cussing doesn't equal disrespect. If I say "this shit sucks", I'm not insulting anyone. If I am they need to do some growing up before getting on the internet.

People can still be rude or mean without "cussing". Who cares. We are all adults. This isn't a Christian chat room

Depends on the cussing. If you're using it to attack or degrade someone, then yeah you need to cut it out. My husband and I have made a huge effort to cut out cussing since our kids but it still slips out from time to time even on here. I don't mean to be disrespectful of anyone if I say "shit sucks" or something along those lines and if someone gets offended by that then I'd suggest putting on the big girl panties and getting over it. We're adults, no need to be petty.

I think to actively call someone a "Bitch," "Cunt," "Whore," "Slut" or "Retard" is not only insulting but degrading too. I don't think that's okay. 
But using "fucking little shits" or along the same lines is fine and sometimes wuites entertaining to read.

I think cussing at and cussing in general is two totally different things. You can use cuss words without directing them at someone and being rude.

I've only ever called someone a jerk after being called a 'baby killer' and I actually apologized. It's good to be the bigger person

I know some may find it off-putting. In RL I really try to not do it. That much

I don't view it as offensive, and I don't personally care, but I try to be respectful for other people.
