Ambivalence about motherhood

Having a child was never in my top 10 of things to do. I wasn't completely against it, but it wasn't a lifelong dream. I fell in love with a wonderful man, and we decided we had a pretty good chance at raising a good human being. I'm pregnant, and I'm looking forward to giving this child everything they need to thrive.
I just have a really hard time talking to other women who gush about how it's everything they ever wanted. Anyone else out there who is happy to be having a child but doesn't think that this is the be all and end off of everything else in the world?
