Announcing to family. Ideas????

We haven’t announced to our family yet. We already have nieces and nephews on both sides but this will be our first. Any fun ideas?

I’m making this sign for my mom and MIL. Then I’ll add a picture of each of the grandkids and an ultrasound photo of baby.

Hubby and I wanna announce at Christmas, that way it's after 12 weeks. We were thinking about having our parents open a gift with this inside, as well as a pacifier and maybe a grandpa/grandma mug.  Also wanna wear the shirt but have the the words hidden under a skirt and then after they open it, show them the bottom half of the shirt. Our baby will be the first grandkid on both sides.

We live 1800 miles away from our families so we plan to FaceTime them. We ordered a new little raiders onesie and we are just going to tell them “hey ya wanna see what we bought this week?!” And then show them the onesie and let them figure it out lol this is our second so it’s not as big a deal as your first

This is what we did because we both love snorkeling and the ocean ❤️ my advice is to find something that means something to you both or something that was significant through your pregnancy (like if you prayed a lot use some kind of religious theme or something! That's a simple example but...) best of luck!!!
