How to tell my family?

Both mine and my husbands parents already know. We have plans to tell my husbands family at Thanksgiving. Everyone goes around the dinner table saying what they are thankful for, so when it’s my turn I’ll just say the normal stuff then my husband will tell everyone the big news!

We will be out of state for thanksgiving so we won’t be able to use the same idea for my family. My family is getting together to celebrate my birthday the week before thanksgiving and I have no idea how to tell them. My cousin just had a baby a week ago and my other cousin is in the middle of a divorce so I feel like the timing isn’t the greatest but we are so excited and can’t wait to share our news!
