How long after ectopic pregnancy did you wait before trying to conceive again?

I had an ectopic pregnancy where my left tube was removed through laparoscopic surgery. My doctor told me that I could start trying again after one cycle but I've also seen online that it's recommended to wait a few cycles. What advice have you gotten?  Would love to hear how long you waited and any success stories!

I was told one cycle after laparoscopic salpingectomy on my right tube. Starting trying as soon as we got the go ahead and am now pregnant after one full cycle!

I was told to wait till I'd had 2 periods or 3 months whichever came first. I'm in 2 minds...kind of want to get on with it,kind of not sure if there's any point :(

I was told 2 menstrual cycles to give my body time to regulate. It was hard but the first cycle after was rough. I had my right tube removed in August and I'd definitely recommend waiting.

My doctor didn’t tell me to wait for a cycle since I got an IUD put in while also getting my right fallopian tube removed. He told me to wait 4 weeks but my very horny boyfriend and I made love after 2 weeks. It was very romantic and I loved how gentle he was knowing I might be in pain because of the surgery. I’m reaching my third week tomorrow (Thursday) and I honestly can’t wait to have sex again I’m only 20 and i am so horny!!

I was treated for an ectopic pregnancy with metho injection on Sunday. I do not appear to have any tubal damage as a result of the ectopic pregnancy. Assuming medicine is effective and no further complications, my doctor said we can start trying after my first normal period, which is anticipated to take approximately two months after my injection.
