Should I take birth control?

So I am 15 years old and now sexually active. We're very safe about everything; we use condoms, he pulls out before finishing, and I use this app to avoid days when I'm ovulating at all costs. Is this enough or should I go on the pill also?

It can't hurt to be extra safe. But you seem like you are thinking through your decisions and taking precautions already. If you feel the risk is still too high then better to be safe than sorry and get on the pill. As to weight gain, that varies by individual. I did not gain weight on my current pill

The pill is soooo bad for u, it completely fucks up you're insides and can ruin your fertility in the future so I wouldn't, it increases your risk of getting breast and ovarian cancer by so much, people just don't know that! Don't take it!

You're being pretty safe as it is. I personally would get on the pill, but not everyone wants to go through the potentially long time frame of finding the right pill for them. If you're pretty regular, then i think its great that you're tracking your ovulation (hopefully with CM & symptoms, not just trusting the app's estimate) in addition to condoms and pulling out.

Well I think you are definitely doing good things now. If you were to go on the pill I would continue to do what you do now and add the pill as an additional precaution not a substitution. Some people take the pill and believe they no longer need to use condoms but I would recommend both. Going on the pill would certainly add extra protection. I think there is no harm in trying it out. Just realize you may have to try a couple kinds before you find one for which you don't experience any unwanted side effects. Good luck! I'm glad you're being so responsible!

Definitely get on the pill because those other methods aren't as effective (although they do help by all means). I am on the pill, we use condoms, he pulls out before he finishes (sometimes, but again we have a condom anyway) and I use this app to avoid sex when needed. Why not take all precautions if you can :)

Also: Please take this into consideration: I'm a little chubby and everyone I know who's gone on birth control gained 10 pounds and that really wouldn't be healthy for me.
