Nursery ready!?

Hey mommies,

So I have a question; I have the crib already set up and everything is coming along pretty well, now my question to everyone is ; is it to early to set up the crib meaning sheets and blankets and all that now? And to start washing his clothes I'm 28 weeks and I kind of want to get everything ready. Should I wait a little more?

I'd have my nursery set up by now if my husband wasn't a slacker. I'm 30 weeks. I wouldn't put the sheets on yet because then they'd be sitting there, I'd wait on those. And for clothes I plan to wash the bigger items and only one or two newborn incase it doesn't fit. I also am waiting until after my baby shower  (in 2 weeks) so I can wash everything at once.

I would probably wait with putting the sheets on so they don't collect dust. I held off on washing clothes and blankets until I had a full load together and we had assembled the baby's dresser. I just washed it all at 30 weeks. Now that the clothes are in her dresser, I am sure they will be fine until her birth. I didn't want to wash them until I had a good clean place to store them.
