Constipation?

I'm wondering if anyone else here is experiencing constipation? My morning sickness has been so bad that I've barely been able to eat- and I've wondered if that's played into it, however it's getting almost unbearable. I can try to have a bowel movement for fifteen minutes and what normally would have worked barely works- and nothing is offering relief. How are you guys combating this? Any suggestions?

Be careful trying too hard to go #2. That can cause hemmoroids. I'm having the same problem, so I have some Metamucil in the morning mixed with either water or OJ, and down tons of water throughout the day. I'm going every couple of days which is a huge improvement from before. Good luck!

One glass of prune juice in the morning helps me a lot 👍

Miralax is what my doc recommend. It works but not without tons of water. And it's safe

I tend to get more constipated, the further pregnancy progresses. I end up on Movicol, a laxative that doesn't draw fluid from the surrounding area but uses the fluid you swallow it with to soften stools. It is safe in pregnancy. I'm afraid that's the UK name, don't know what the US name is.

I just asked this question a while back. Out of everyone's suggestions, prunes or prune juice before bed has worked best. You should be able to go by the time you wake up in the morning. Also add more water and fiber to your daily routine. These are the safest, most natural ways. I hope this helps

I had constipation for weeks. Im 9 weeks now and just now starting to go poop.
