Sharp pain on left side?

For the past few days, I’ve been getting what starts as cramping but then ends up becoming a sharp pain on my left side, almost under my hip bone... I’ve had my Kyleena IUD for about 6 weeks now, and my strings are still there (at my follow up, the doctor had said they were the exact same length as they were at insertion, and she did not trim them). I’ve read that some people experience ovarian cysts in the first few months with a hormonal IUD... could that be what it is? I think I’m about mid-cycle right now.
