Are you having a baby shower for baby number two that’s same sex of first born

I’m debating if I want to throw a baby shower because I’m having another girl and they’re two years apart. Thing is I gave my sister in law majority of my baby clothes and items for my niece and now she’s given some away to her family and friends.

Should I really throw the shower or just buy the stuff I need for baby my self? What are my chances of people showing up and bringing gifts. Also my fiancé cousin is due a few weeks before me with baby number 1. My fiancé mom thinks I should try to have my baby shower before hers so I have a good chance of getting a lot of people to show up.

I’m so undecided!!!
