Induction!

So within one week I went from having an easy pregnancy, to being hospitalized. I've always had high blood pressure controlled with meds, along with kidney disease, so I was closely watched for preeclampsia. My blood pressure started to creep up after I got sick one weekend and so did the protein in my urine, as well as my liver enzymes

so here I am, in the hospital, 34 weeks pregnant, about to be induced in a few hours and I'm scared. I'll be on a magnesium sulfate drip to prevent seizures and I've heard it's a terrible drug

they're giving my unprepared body only 12 hours to labor and deliver, otherwise it's an automatic c section. Baby was an estimated 4 pounds 10 oz five days ago, so I'm nervous that this fragile little human being is coming out already. i guess it could be worse!
