Bronchiolitis/croup

My baby has had a cough since he was 2 months. My dr has been saying it's bronchiolitis and there's nothing that they can do about it just has to run its course. He is almost 7 months old and still has the same cough. Over the weekend I had to run him to ER because he woke up unable to breathe and coughing like a barking dog and screaming crying from being unable to catch his breath. In the ER they gave him a breathing treatment and he is now on oral steroids. We went to his doctor yesterday and he said the bronchiolitis turned into croup, and I just has to run its course. I am so sick of hearing the same thing for the past 4 1/2 months.

Any moms dealing with bronchiolitis, croup, or breathing issues? And what do you do?
