Anybody else's body go whacky?

I'm sad and confused this morning. Sept period 3-9, Oct was 14-20 cycles usually 39-40 days give or take. Should be my fertile week right now. But last few days blood. Thought it was ovulation bleeding but it's medium in heaviness today and 3 days? The hubby and I BD'd Sunday and plan to again this week. Now I'm confused tho did my period shift? Am I ovulating? ugh Period wasn't due til Nov 23rd. We're newbies, only 2 months trying for baby #1. Luckily I have a Dr's appt for Saturday. I have so many questions.
