About Tattoos
Hello! I'm in need of some advice...so here's the backstory: I got my first tattoo by a woman named M that works in a tattoo shop. She did great work and I knew I wanted to come back. However, my next tattoo including writing that needed small thin lines which my artist was honest and told me I should get my next done by her coworker, K who is in the same shop, because her line work was the best. I set up an appointment with K and at the time she charged 140 an hour. I tipped her 20%. I then got my shoulder done by K about a year later and she still charged 140 an hour. Again, I tipped her 20%. This was a 4 hour tattoo. Now, I'm wanting to finish this sleeve but after contacting K, she is now charging 220 an hour! I really want the sleeve to be completed by her because she is amazing and I've already started it with her but 220 an hour is sooooo expensive. I don't want to insult her by asking for a lower price but at the same time I really can't afford that. The next portion of this tattoo could cost me over 1000 dollars and it's not even that much arm space. I'm not sure how to go about this situation or how I could ask for a lower price. Any suggestions ?
