Do you try hard to be environmentally friendly?

I try. I don’t always succeed, but I do try. 
I have a very low carbon footprint, Not driving is a large part of that as is not eating meat, but I do use a lot of water. That’s probably my biggest environmental indulgence. I’m in the process of trying to cut out palm oil, but it’s in fucking everything.
I don’t have strong thoughts about other individuals behavior. Particularly as poverty is an influencing factor, but I do harshly judge unethical corporations.

Yes, in general I’m very conscious about my environment and my resources. I recycle, I have been using my reusable shopping bags. I recently started using reusable produce bags. 
I’m mindful of the way I use water. I constantly go around and unplug things if not necessarily. 
We use cloth napkins. I don’t turn dishwasher/ washer -dryer on unless it’s full load. 
We use real china plates and not paper 
We reuse plastic utensils until they break 
I plan my trips so I’m using gas a lot less. 
If possible, I roll the windows down/up instead of using the AC / heater. 
To me, it’s more about sustainability than anything else.

Yes I try. I recycle, I compost, I don’t drive, I bring reusable bags to the grocery store, I am vegan, I take short showers, I use reusable menstrual products, I try to buy things that don’t come in a lot of plastic packaging e.g. solid shampoo. Those things are pretty easy to me but it’s hard when options aren’t available to you. And shittily I’m sure my carbon footprint is still not what it needs to be.

I recycle, use reusable shopping bags, make use of eco-mode in all appliances that apply. Me and hubby try to use the car less, don’t use the heating willy nilly and use energy saving bulbs. I judge people that have the option to recycle and don’t. I hate people who litter.
I use my PS4 too much, but that’s medicinal.

Yes I try to buy things that are more environmentally friendly. I heard somewhere that blu-rays are made from less plastic than dvds, so I buy those instead. Doesn’t Starbucks sell environmentally friendly cups?

We try and I️ think we do a pretty decent job. 
My community has a recycling service with the garbage service so that makes it easier right off the bat.
My daughter attends a charter school with an environmental mission that requests trash-free lunches (so food has to be in reusable containers) which sometimes feels like more work when I️ could just buy packaged snacks, but is actually both economical and generally healthier. They also communicate mostly via email and use whiteboards in class to limit paper use. They also teach the kids green habits which so think is a plus.
We put a rain barrel in the back yard that we use for watering the flowers and garden pots, although I️ have not taken the leap to compost yet. I️ try to use conscious cleaning products and appliances that have energy saving technology.
I️ try to buy products that can be recycled or are made from recycled materials, or are made with environmentally conscious processes. This sometimes comes at an added expense so I️ feel lucky we can afford them. I️ also work in the apparel industry and have an idea of what claims to look for that are legitimate.
We don’t do very well in the sense of vehicles.. we have not purchased cars with an environmentally aligning quality.. but maybe someday. We also would consider solar panels for our roof at some point.

We’re a one car family, and it’s a hybrid. But we take public transit to work so it doesn’t usually get used.
When I started my current job, they were printing out all of our work only to scan it back in. I️ ended that by introducing them to adobe PDF.

Now I’m out of school, I’m trying to be way more conscious of my effect on the world.
I’m a big fan of recycling and disposing of rubbish. I’d rather carry around a dirty wrapper in my handbag all day than chuck it on the ground and walk away (if there’s no bins).
I rarely buy bottled water. I take my own bottle with me and fill it up where I can (I really only go to work, so that helps).
I can’t drive, so I guess that’s something? I walk as much as I can.

We try to have as close to a zero waste kitchen as possible, but it's hard, but we're 90% there. One issue I think that's looked over is how much waste infants produce. Diapers and formula alone produce so much waste! It was part of our decision to get cloth diapers, but once I started doing the math between nursing twins and cleaning diapers, we opted for Honest, which are allegedly biodegradable (I'm still doing research). As for other people, I'm trying really hard not to be so judgemental and I think I'm there. The birth of our twins is just days away and I've noticed a different kind of nesting I guess. Everyone has their own journey to walk, so I'm done trying to convince anyone of anything but am happily listening to different opinions and points of view instead. It's refreshing and more constructive because it opens up dialog at the very least.

YES! Not only do I have to live here, but my children and their children do. It’s not hard to reduce, reuse and recycle. THERE IS ONLY ONE EARTH.
