Trouble latching 😔 I need help!

So it's been five days and we're still struggling to latch at all. My nipples are rather small, not what you'd expect from a breastfeeding mumma, they don't reach the top of his mouth and his mouth doesn't open very wide.

He knows how to suck though, he goes on the bottle just fine, and I've been using a shield which he's ok at but it's not a lot of productive sucking.

I feel like I'll never be able to breastfeed my boy with the boob. I'll forever be pumping. 😫 And I'm not pumping enough now to keep him satisfied for very long. Please help with any advice or similar experiences 😮
