I have my beautiful pumpkin.

On October 2nd, I was induced at 8 am. I held off on the epidural until 10:30 because I was terrified it was gonna wear off if I got it too late, lmao. Once I pushed him out to the point that he was crowning, I pushed once & his head was out, I pushed a second time & he was born. He was born at 12:02 pm. Since I pushed him out so fast, he came out with a lung full of fluid. I guess he wasn't in the birth canal long enough. But he didn't come out crying. The nurses sucked a bunch of fluid out until he was crying, but he was having a hard time breathing. So he went off to the NICU. It was all really scary for me & my husband, but we knew he was in good hands & would be okay. Which he was. He's 5 weeks old now & healthy. He was born at 7 pounds 8 ounces, 19.5 inches long. He's about 11 pounds now & at his last doctor's appointment he was 21 inches long. He looks just like Daddy. But anyway, here's some pictures. 😊
