Is this wrong of me??

Question

For Christmas my mother in law asked us all to get together the whole family and do photos. But where there are so many of us, it has to be outside. almost in December. and freezing cold. my baby will only be not even 3 weeks old... and i don't feel comfortable keeping her outside taking photos in the cold. I don't know how to tell my MIL sorry but my baby won't be in them. am I being over worried about this ??

If you dress your baby appropriately there’s no issue. Being outside is good for babies

Chilli outdoors, is actually good for babies. as long as they are warm and bundled up, the fresh air is good for them. plus, the whole thing might take MAX 30 minutes. that's not a big deal. there's Milions of newborns in very cold places and nobody is freaking out..

just dress your baby warm. of course we can't do it here but in other countries they leave there babies outside to nap while they go into the cafe. fresh air is ok just don't over do the time outside. but in the end it's your choice if you feel like it's to much then just do what feels best at that moment. in the end you are the mother.

depends on where you live. if it's below 60 I wouldn't take baby out too long in it. if it's literally freezing I think saying NO is okay. it's your baby. your rules.

My husbands huge family does big family photos on a staircase. Usually we can find someplace with a wide and pretty one, like a museum or hotel
