Long menstrual cycle

Hey guys... How long did it take for you to get your period after stopping birth control? I got my period end of September and it is now CD 43. Seems like a hell of a long time! Is this normal? Would love some relief thanks!

Update: after experiencing crazy stomach pains for the last few days, I went to the ER where they actually confirmed that I am pregnant! Like legitimately really really early so not getting too excited Bc nervous about possibility of things going wrong but hopefully it won't ! Praying for everything to go well and for a healthy long term baby. Baby dust for everyone else on here!
